PlasticTrack is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PlasticTrack, you agree to the practices described below.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, and location details (district, city, ward) when you register. We also collect data on plastic waste you log, collection requests you make, and reward points you earn.
Your information is used to provide door-to-door plastic collection services, assign collection agents, calculate and distribute reward points, generate aggregated recycling analytics for municipal planning, and send you notifications about your pickup status and rewards.
We use bank-grade encryption to protect your personal data. User authentication includes email verification and OTP-based login. All collection transactions are PIN-verified and timestamped. We comply with applicable data protection standards and store no sensitive financial information — reward redemptions are processed through verified UPI and government benefit channels.
We do not sell your personal data. Aggregated, anonymized recycling data may be shared with the Paschim Bengal Sarkar and municipal authorities for environmental monitoring and policy-making. Individual data is only shared with your assigned collection agent for fulfillment of pickup requests.
We use local storage and cookies to maintain your login session, remember preferences (such as theme), and improve your experience. Agent and brand agency sessions are stored locally on your device and cleared upon logout.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can update your profile details at any time from the Profile page. To request full data deletion, please contact us. You may opt out of non-essential notifications at any time.
PlasticTrack is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for removal.
